At Harris Heating and Cooling Solutions LLC, we offer a Preventative Maintenance Program that will keep your heating and cooling equipment running at peak performance. Just as your  automobile requires regular service, so does your home’s central air conditioning system. Our Cooling Preventative Maintenance Includes The Following Services: 

  • Check refrigerant level (FREON®)
  • Check for correct superheat and sub cooling for optimal performance
  • Clean/rinse out outdoor condenser coils
  • Controls and safeties will be tested for proper operation
  • Check capacitors
  • Check contactors for pitting and proper operation
  • Inspect outdoor electrical wiring and disconnect
  • Check amp draws
  • Test compressor windings
  • Tighten electrical connections
  • Inspect outdoor fan motor and wheel
  • Blow out drain line
  • Inspect evaporator coil
  • Check temperature differential across coil for cooling
  • Insure proper thermostat operation
  • Change air filter (if customer provided)

Our Heating Preventative Maintenance Includes The Following Services: 

  • Inspect heat exchanger for cracks
  • Insure all safeties are functional
  • Check for gas leaks at furnace
  • Inspect for proper gas pressure coming in and out of gas valve
  • Clean flame sensor
  • Inspect igniter for wear and proper operation
  • Tighten all electrical connections
  • Check amp draws
  • Check capacitors
  • Check blower motor and wheel
  • Check temperature rise of furnace
  • Insure proper thermostat operation
  • Change air filter (if customer provided)
  • Heat pump specific
  • Check refrigerant level
  • Check for correct superheat and sub cooling for optimal performance
  • Inspect defrost controls for proper operation
  • Inspect emergency heat operation
